Tool Crib Stations allows users the ability to automate an existing tool room, tool crib or stores area using either
a keypad or touch screen interface. By designating the area in the AutoCrib tool crib software as a tool crib and
installing a toolcrib station at the crib window, you can effectively convert a manual tool crib to a virtual dispensing
machine. Now the crib can benefit from the same level of control and accountability as an AutoCrib tool vending machine,
for a fraction of the price. The difference is that users as opposed to tool crib attendants perform the data entry.
Placing terminals at various locations or remote work cells throughout a plant can create a "runner system".
Orders are placed from these locations, which print out in the toolcrib, and runners deliver items on a scheduled basis.
Receipts can also be printed, providing written document for every transaction that occurs.
