Business Initiative: Excessive PPE / Glove Consumption
There's no mystery why a leading air conditioner manufacturing company would want to control PPE / Safety supply costs.

Challenge:
Glove consumption was unusually high. Employees had long que times at the tool crib. This caused hoarding of gloves
in personal lockers or at their work centers causing spiked demand. This in turn caused shortages and in some cases

the glove supply, employees were away from their work centers for less time. As confidence in the system increased do to
the automatic replenishment system, hoarding was no longer necessary. Additionally the company cut glove consumption by
