• The touch screen-based interface also allows his users to search by item, description or classification, and even display a picture of the item as well as notes on how to use it. This has been key to the system's success, as many of his staff don't know what the item codes are.
• Stock-outs, late nights, and delayed ordering of tools have become a thing of the past.
• Management believes the system had a payback of about 12 months.
