VisiCab Tool Vending Cabinet

AutoCrib is delivering next generation industrial vending with the VisiCab – Object Recognition. This is an excellent solution for F.O.D. (Foreign Object Debris) control but can be used in any application where 100% of the tools or other items must be returned and accounted for.

Any variety of tools can be housed in the trays of the VisiCab and THE MACHINE CAN ACTUALLY SEE which items are in the machine and which are missing! It also knows who took them out and when!

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT

VisiCab keeps tight control of critical tools in F.O.D. (Foreign Object Debris) control environments without the need for applying RFID tags or modifying tools. This system is far superior to other types of systems on the market that use optical sensors, RFID tags or weight based switches. The system has the ability to see not only shapes of tools but colors as well. This means that it can tell the difference between a ½ wrench with a green stripe or a blue stripe. Thus it can tell the difference between two users ½ inch wrenches that appear exactly the same.
