How MobileCrib works

To issue an item:

  1. The tool room attendant or user simply picks up the unit and touches the type of transaction desired (e.g., Issue, Return, Locate, etc.).
  2. The MobileCrib prompts for the employee number of the employee requesting the item(s). The user activates the trigger and scans the employee badge. The device can also prompt for cost center data such as department or job number
  3. The attendant then walks to the bin where the requested item is located, and simply scans the barcode. The system then prompts for the quantity to be issued, and the attendant completes the transaction.
