The AutoCrib IntelliPort is a superior control system in 6 key areas:

1. Superior workflow: item tracking is confirmed upon leaving the crib
   
   Employees tend to be careful when returning an item - but not as careful when checking out an item. IntelliPort puts more security at check-out - where the employee is less concerned. Competitive systems have been designed backwards!
   
   The IntelliPort access doors are on the outside of the IntelliPort itself. Once the user leaves the tool crib and is inside the IntelliPort, the user is stopped. The IntelliPort verbally advises the user of the number of items it has scanned.
   
   To reduce the potential for fraud and error, the doors won't open until the employee confirms the scan. The user is forced to confirm his transaction upon exiting the crib - or the doors will not unlock.
   
   This is less of an issue with a return, as the employee wants to get credit for items returned. After walking through the front doors and entering IntelliPort, if IntelliPort doesn't detect the RFID tag, the user will push the re-scan button until the system does pick it up - and correctly record the return.
