Pixley co-founded MTS in 1989, and as President, acquired extensive experience in managing, automating and controlling industrial distribution companies. During his tenure, Pixley was involved in hundreds of AutoCrib implementations with many of the world's largest companies. In fact, Pixley signed the largest "point-of-use dispensing" based integrated supply contract in the history of the industry -- with Northrop Grumman corporation. Pixley's designs and systems approach enabled Northrop Grumman to eliminate all of their tool cribs and run the first large scale point-of-use dispensing system.

Previous to MTS, Pixley held a number of positions with NCR Corporation. He initially trained as a programmer, and subsequently spent a number of years as an inventory control specialist and troubleshooter.

He is a graduate of Management Action Programs (MAP), and a 2008 recipient of MAP's Presidential Achievement Award, recognizing AutoCrib's exceptional growth and profitability. Mr. Pixley holds a Masters degree in Computer Science, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
