Stephen Pixley, "Father of Industrial Vending"

Stephen Pixley built the first point-of-use dispensing machines in his garage in 1994 - and launched the Industrial Vending category of solutions to reduce costs and improve productivity.

He continues to lead the industry as a prolific developer of innovative dispensing equipment and systems, continually creating the industry's most popular dispensing technologies. Pixley is regarded as the foremost industry expert in the area of "point-of-use dispensing" as well as in automating the industrial distribution supply chain.

Mr. Pixley assumed the Presidency of AutoCrib in 1999, to focus full-time on the Industrial Vending category of solutions that he had created. Prior to 1999, AutoCrib had been a division of Machine Tools Supply (MTS), a company Pixley built from a start-up to the largest privately-held industrial tool distributor and integrator in Southern California.
